Being a frequent traveler, we always look out for deals that has great value for money, and Philippine Airlines does not disappoint.
My recent trip to Tokyo, Japan gave me an opportunity to try new plane of Philippine Airlines which is the airbus A330 a new addition to their fleet.
This post mainly focus on the flight itself as I didn’t have enough time to enjoy the Admiral’s lounge partnered with Mabuhay lounge in Narita International airport.
Boarding the plane you will be welcomed with the warm smiles of the Filipino attendants, we were directed to our seats by Paula. The seating configuration is 1-2-1 and all of the seats offer direct aisle access which is a plus for everyone, although I would prefer myself if they have a cocoon seating suitable for couples, but all in all it was fine.
I was quite impressed with the new cabin of Philippine Airlines, they are clearly stepping up their game.
The plane offers WiFi connection onboard and gives out the first 15 minutes for free.
The seats are comfortable with a fully flat bed and have enough space to store personal stuffs near you, it’s suitable for me because I travel with a lot of gadgets. One thing that stand out the most for me is their personal 18.5 inch tv, it’s perfect for everyone who wants to be entertained during a long haul flight.
Coming from Japan, Philippine Airlines offers Japanese food on board as well as western mixed with Filipino food. The food selection is quite small compared to other big airlines, but no complaints on my part I thoroughly enjoyed the Japanese food that was served to me.
we landed after 4 hours departing Tokyo, and I must say I’m definitely looking forward for my next flight with Philippine Airlines
I was really happy with the service and for the fact that Philippine Airlines is improving a lot, learn more about their new business class here
