This is my second time staying Raffles Makati Hotel and I am excited to try out their executive suite. The property only has suites available and it occupies the 9th and 10th floor of the building; they also offer Residences suites for those travelers that like to stay a bit longer.

We recently got our membership upgraded with Accor and acquired their new Diamond member status. Know more about Accor Plus membership programs and rewards here https://all.accor.com/loyalty-program/cards-status-benefits-details/index.en.shtml

Raffles Makati Hotel Ratings

Location 4.8/5

If you’re visiting the Philippines for the very first time, or a local; Raffles Makati Hotel sits at the very heart of Makati City which is the central business district of the country. The hotel shares it’s building with another Accor Property which is the Fairmont Makati Hotel.

It’s nearby Greenbelt Shopping mall, which is the high-end mall in the Philippines. Public transportation is also close at hand.

Art lovers would also love this hotel, for every corner of this property has historic paintings all over it, ask your personal butler to give you a quick tour.

Of all the hotels in the area, I am inclined to stay at Raffles Makati Hotel, because of its location; I love that it’s so close to my favorite restaurants and shops.

I would highly recommend this hotel just for its location, but I’m just getting started.

Hotel Ambiance 4.5/5

The hotel itself is quite new, but I am not a fan that it shares a lobby with Fairmont Makati Hotel. Although they have a separate entrance for each hotel, so the crowd can be avoided.

Modern meets classic is the overall feel when you immense yourself to a stay in Raffles Makati Hotel.

The hotel is frequented by business travelers all over the world. They play classical music with their piano man or woman every afternoon till 6 in the evening; it’s a delight to your ears.

Complimentary non-alcoholic drinks are served at the Writers Bar.

Hotel Room 4.9/5

The hotel only offers suites and residences for long term visitors, the only Raffles Hotel property to do so.

Reflective of the timeless elegance of Raffles, Executive Suites feature high ceilings, separate living and dining rooms, a plush bedroom, and a bathroom with a walk-in wardrobe.

We felt home in our suite and almost would not go home after a few weeks of staying. Everything that we needed during our stay, our butlers provided it with ease.

The bed is one of the softest beds, I’ve ever been in and one of the reasons I take an extra hour waking up each day when we were there.

With 120 sqm of space, it’s one of the spacious and well thought out hotel suites we’ve ever been in.

It’s great for accomodating guests and hosts a small party. It’s also perfect for a small family for a staycation.

Hotel Dining 4.2/5

The hotel houses some of the best restaurants in Metro Manila.

With Miréio a dining destination in the Philippines serving authentic Provençal and French-inspired cuisine.

I loved the semi-buffet and a la carte breakfast at Miréio it’s perfect for everyone who enjoys light breakfast like me; but if you prefer a bigger selection for dining, head to their restaurant at Spectrum which is a shared venture with Fairmont Makati hotel and located at the first floor of the hotel.

Spectrum is one of the best-rated buffet dinings in Manila. Check out other buffets in the Metro for any budget https://www.spot.ph/eatdrink/the-latest-eat-drink/79567/best-hotel-buffets-in-metro-manila-a3378-20191109-lfrm

The in-room dining selection is superb, although some of our favorite Filipino dishes are not on the menu yet they still cater and cook it for us.

And if you’re looking for a nightcap head out to their newest bar and chicest bar in the Metro, Mistral.

Or if you’re into a classic bar there’s always Long Bar at the lobby.

  • Chocolate Crêpes at (Miréio)
  • Pork Sinigang (In-room Dining)
  • Fresh Fish from Palawan (In-room Dining)
  • Old Fashioned Cocktail (Mistral)
  • Japanese Salmon (Miréio
  • The Pastry Basket
  • High Tea (Writer’s Bar)
